Amanda Walks To Republic

While the official press release hasn't been pressed yet, ALL ACCESS has learned that longtime SONY MUSIC promo goddess AMANDA WALK DOBBINS, currently COLUMBIA Sr. Director Alternative/Rock Promotion, has resigned her post and is headed to REPUBLIC RECORDS as VP/Alternative & Rock Promotion.  

AMANDA will report to REPUBLIC SVP/Rock Formats RON CERRITO, and will continue to be based in LOS ANGELES, as the label increases its WEST COAST presence.

Look for WALK to begin her new duties on or about APRIL 28th.

DIMaio Exits

REPUBLIC Sr. Dir. Alternative & Rock Promotion JOHN DIMAIO exited last week.

DIMAIO said, "Very very proud of my 3 1/2 years there.   Breaking FLORENCE + THE MACHINE, GOTYE, OF MONSTERS AND MEN, VOLBEAT, ALEX CLARE, LORDE, and PHANTOGRAM.   Such a great run I had."
