ENTERCOM Active Rock WAAF/BOSTON's MISTRESS CARRIE is again supporting the troops. Her dedication to the cause has taken her to IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN as an embedded reporter in 2006 and 2011 respectively. This time, MISTRESS CARRIE is doing something that no other civilian has ever been allowed to do, participate in the "Tough Ruck."
It’s all to benefit MILITARY FRIENDS FOUNDATION. MISTRESS CARRIE is part of a fundraising team that includes the 1-182 Infantry, whom she was embedded with in AFGHANISTAN.
MISTRESS CARRIE adds, “"After being embedded with members of the 182 in AFGHANISTAN, and visiting them as they secured BOSTON after the marathon bombings, I'm honored to be a member of the team, especially on APRIL 19th , because the 182 are one of only a few units in the military that carry battle streamers from LEXINGTON, CONCORD and BOSTON. It's going to be a very special day, and I just hope to keep up with them!"
