The news of KANYE's DONDA HOUSE INC, COMMON's COMMON GROUND FOUNDATION, and the CHICAGO URBAN LEAGUE working together was announced at a recent press conference.
The joint initiative intends to bring employment opportunities through the CHICAGO YOUTH JOBS COLLABORATIVE. As a part of this venture there will be a yearly music festival fundraiser to raise money for the jobs and other programs. This years event will be held behind the MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY in HYDE PARK on SEPTEMBER 20th and 21st.
CHICAGO URBAN LEAGUE CEO ANDREA ZOPP said, "It's one thing to provide summer jobs for these kids, but we're trying to provide year-round jobs. We've had hearings and the kids have told us they need jobs year-round."
