Four South Carolina Noncommercial FMs Sold

SPIRIT BROADCASTING GROUP, INC. is selling noncommercial WKRI/COKESBURY, SC, WFBK/FORT MILL, SC, and WKBR-F/SUMMERVILLE, SC to RADIO TRAINING NETWORK, INC. for $460,832 plus a time brokerage agreement before closing. SPIRIT BROADCASTING GROUP, INC. is also selling noncommercial WKMH-F/SALUDA, SC to RICHBURG EDUCATIONAL BROADCASTERS, INC. for $139,730 in two promissory notes.
In other filings with the FCC, THE CEDARVILLE UNIVERSITY is selling W233BZ/NELSONVILLE, OH to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $3,000.
NORTH CADDO BROADCASTING CO. has requested a Silent STA for KNCB-A and KNCB-F/VIVIAN, LA while it awaits closing of the stations' sale to a new owner.
Partners BRUCE PIVIC and BEN DOUD have closed on the purchase of the interests of WILLIAM LUZMOOR, III and the WILLIAM J. LUZMOOR, III LIVING TRUST in BIG THICKET BROADCASTING OF WYOMING, licensee of Talk KRKK-A, Country KQSQ, and Classic Rock KSIT/ROCK SPRINGS, WY and Top 40 KMRZ (MIX 106.7)/SUPERIOR, WY, for $300,000. PIVIC and DOUD have acquired 450 additional shares, bringing PIVIC to 47% ownership and DOUD to 45% ownership. JON COLLINS continues to hold 7% of the company.
SOUND IDEAS, LLC has closed on the sale of WABB-A/BELTON, SC to THE POWER FOUNDATION for $100,000.
MMTC BROADCASTING LLC has closed on the sale of one of the stations donated to it by CLEAR CHANNEL, Hmong KFXN-A (HMONG RADIO AM 690)/MINNEAPOLIS, to XENG XIONG and KONGSUE XIONG's ASIAN AMERICAN BROADCASTING, LLC for $255,000. The buyers have been operating the station under an LMA since 2011.
And FIRST VENTURES CAPITAL PARTNERS, INC. has closed on the sale of K258BG/OSKALOOSA, IA to JOMAST CORP. for $25,000. The translator will rebroadcast Country KBOE-A/OSKALOOSA.
