The fate of Top 40 countdown legend CASEY KASEM took a strange twist TODAY (5/12) when a judge ordered an investigation into KASEM's whereabouts after his wife's attorney said KASEM was out of the country -- and he didn't know exactly where KASEM was. ABC NEWS reports that L.A. SUPERIOR COURT Judge DANIEL S. MURPHY ordered a court investigator and adult protective services to find out where the iconic DJ is being treated.
KASEM, 82, suffers from advanced Parkinson's disease and can no longer speak; his care is under the supervision of his wife, JEAN KASEM. His children have complained that they have been unable to see their father in accordance with an agreement with their stepmother (NET NEWS, 12/23/13). Daughter KERRI KASEM's attorney, TROY MARTIN, said the family believes the entertainer has been taken to an Indian reservation in WASHINGTON state.
