FORDHAM UNIVERSITY Triple A WFUV/NEW YORK is also a traning ground for students in the news and sports areas, and both departments were recently honored.
On the news side:
From the NEW YORK STATE BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION and the NEW YORK PRESS CLUB, 2014 FORDHAM UNIVERSITY graduate BOBBY GUBIN won Best Feature for his piece, “I Am Somebody,” which addressed bullying and its negative effects through TY SMALLEY, an 11 year-old boy who took his own life after being provoked into a fight at school.
