WV Broadcasting Hall Of Fame Inducts Ten

Ten broadcasting professionals will join the 175 members of the WEST VIRGINIA BROADCASTING HALL OF FAME on NOV. 15th at the Museum of Radio and Technology in HUNTINGTON. This year’s group represents all facets of radio, television and broadcast journalism and they have served the viewers and listeners in the region and other areas of the country for decades, said Hall of Fame committee Chairman TOM RESLER.
Following are this year’s inductees:

- DICK CALLAWAY
- JACK CANFIELD
- JACK DEAKIN
- LLOYD SCOTT GARTEN
- RANDY KERBAWY
- MICHAEL KIDD
- PAUL KRAKOWSKI
- FRITZ LEICHNER
- DAN SHOEMAKER
The 10 people -- GARTEN and KRAKOWSKI posthumously -- will be honored during the induction ceremony, which is a by-invitation-only event at the MUSEUM OF RADIO AND TECHNOLOGY, 1640 Florence, Ave., HUNTINGTON, from 5-7p on NOV. 15th.
