UMG Names Mike Tunnicliffe EVP/Business Development & Partnerships, U.S.

UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP has named former GROUP M Chief Growth & Marketing Officer MIKE TUNNICLIFFE to the newly created role of EVP/Business Development & Partnerships, U.S., effective JANUARY 1st, 2015. TUNNICLIFFE, who will be based in NEW YORK and report to UMG EVP/U.S. Recorded Music MICHELE ANTHONY, will oversee new business activity for UMG related to brand partnerships, strategic marketing alliances and marketing programs for advertisers.
In his new position, TUNNICLIFFE will work closely with Global Head of New Business OLIVIER ROBERT-MURPHY and his team, the strategic marketing groups at the company’s labels and UMG’s digital, commercial and marketing departments in creating new revenue opportunities for artists, labels and artists’ brands.
