Nationally syndicated PITTSBURGH-based radio talk show "The Union Edge," has gone interactive with a new app that allows listeners and union families to access -- and communicate -- with the show on the move.
Partnering with JACK OF TRADE APPS, "The Union Edge" now touts a new, free app available in the APPLE iOS APP STORE and the ANDROID-based GOOGLE PLAY STORE.
Listeners can now livestream the show (which airs weekdays noon until 3p ET), as well as listen to podcasts on demand and post photos showing their everyday union actions. Listeners can also use the “speak out” voice-recorder function to react to the show, expand on their thoughts and feelings about issues that impact their lives.
“What this app does, is allow union families to organize in a way that surrounds this already-great programming that heralds issues that directly impact them.” says JACK OF TRADES APPS President ANDREW DAVIS. Andrew Davis, “We are excited to be able to give them such a valuable tool, to help them achieve their growth and spread their message in a new way.”
"The Union Edge" is hosted by CHARLES SHOWALTER with executive producer and co-host ANGELA BAUGHMAN and co-host/communications director BRITTANY SHEETS.
