MT. WILSON BROADCASTERS Country KKGO (GO COUNTRY)/LOS ANGELES Station Mgr. MICHAEL LEVINE tells ALL ACCESS, “We are currently exploring all of our options now for afternoon drive,” following YESTERDAY’s (1/21) news that PM drive co-host LARRY MORGAN is leaving to join CBS RADIO crosstown Oldies/Adult Hits KRTH for APD/Swing duties (NET NEWS 1/21).
No word yet on what role existing Afternoon co-host GINNY HARMON will have after MORGAN leaves on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16th.
KKGO recently teamed MORGAN and HARMON for PM drive following a short stint together in evenings. Previously, MORGAN handled mornings at GO COUNTRY from JANUARY to OCTOBER of 2014, when the station changed direction and brought in GRAHAM BUNN and DEBRA MARK for wakeups (NET NEWS 10/6).
