The FCC has announced that LOUISA TERRELL, former Chief of Staff to Sen. CORY BOOKER (D-NJ) and FACEBOOK Dir. of Policy, has joined the staff of Chairman TOM WHEELER as Advisor. TERRELL previously served in the WHITE HOUSE as Special Assistant to President OBAMA for Legislative Affairs (2009-11) and as Vice President BIDEN's Deputy Chief of Staff when he was Senator from DELAWARE in 2006-08 and as his counsel on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
In addition, Special Assistant to the Chairman SAGAR DOSHI will be leaving the Chairman's office.
WHEELER said, "LOUISA has a breadth of experience that will be invaluable as we move forward with our agenda, including prior positions in the Administration, technology companies, and on CAPITOL HILL. LOUISA is a welcome addition to our staff and brings a wealth of talent and expertise to the team.
“Since I began at the FCC in November 2013, SAGAR has provided incredibly helpful right-hand support to me, especially as we have both discovered the inner workings of this agency together. With his vision and enthusiasm for the future of technology, Sagar has provided all of us with an invaluable perspective.”
