Singer BOBBY BROWN has issued a statement denying various reports that he and his family are basically waiting for daughter BOBBI KRISTINA BROWN to die, USA TODAY reports. Case-in-point: a PEOPLE MAGAZINE report that "four days after the 21-year-old was found unresponsive in her home, a doctor told her family that nothing more could be done ... 'Everyone is coming to the hospital to say goodbye,' a family member told the magazine."
"If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that's all we would be doing 24 hours a day," BROWN told the ATLANTA JOURNAL CONSTITUTION. "This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place."
A source close to the family discounted a different report that the family was gathering at the to say goodbye to BOBBI, because the family has been there since the beginning, so nothing is any different today for them.
Furthermore, BROWN is "not brain dead," as has been reported.
BROWN was found SATURDAY (1/31) in her townhouse in the ATLANTA suburb of ROSWELL, GA. She was described as "not breathing" when rushed to the hospital.
