WESTPLEX BROADCASTING LLC is transferring Active Rock KFNS-F (100.7 THE VIPER)/TROY-ST. LOUIS, MO to VIPER BROADCASTING, LLC for assumption of $318,750 of debt ($81.200 to PEOPLE'S BANK AND TRUST and $237,550 to PROVIDENCE BANK). CHRIS BLEVINS and STEVE KASPAR are members of both buyer and seller.

In CANADA, the CRTC has rejected GOLDEN WEST BROADCASTING LTD.'s application to drop its' license requirement of 10% Folk music at AC CHOO (99.5 DRUM FM)/DRUMHELLER, AB. GOLDEN WEST said that it was unaware of the requirement because it had not proposed the condition when applying for the license. The Commission, however, said that dropping the requirement, even though Folk music does not fit the station's primary format, "would call into question the integrity of the licensing process."
