Who says you can't go home? ANDREW PATTON, who left PROVIDENT LABEL GROUP (PLG) in 2005 to found PATTON HOUSE ENTERTAINMENT, has returned to PLG effective TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17th, as VP Nat. Prom.
Pres./CEO TERRY HEMMINGS announced via a letter to PLG's partners at radio, "It is my pleasure to announce that we have hired ANDREW PATTON as the Vice President of National Promotions. As most of you know, ANDREW is a long-term industry veteran with a wide variety of music business experience including radio promotions, artist management, label oversight and live events. His inventive approach and broad expertise will be a valuable addition to our team. ANDREW’s first day in the office will be TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17th. Please join me in welcoming ANDREW back to the PROVIDENT LABEL GROUP family.
"Please also join me in extending much gratitude to JIMMY WHEELER who has gone above and beyond in overseeing this department as we pursued a long-term strategy. Exhibiting grace under much pressure, JIMMY has guided the team through a time of great development. He will pass to ANDREW a group of passionate employees, eager to regain our position in the market, equipped with an outstanding slate of songs and artists. JIMMY will assist as needed during this transition and continue as Vice President of Sales.
"We believe very good and exciting days are ahead in 2015. Thank you for your continued partnership."
When reached for comment, PATTON added, "I'm grateful to continue my tenure inside the music industry with the team at PROVIDENT. The power of songs continues to change and impact lives, and I'm excited to re-join the team."
Congrats to ANDREW and PROVIDENT LABEL GROUP on this successful reunion of champions!
