The nationally syndicated "The BERT Show" provided a lucky ATLANTA listener with a VALENTINE'S DAY makeover after co-host KRISTIN KLINGSHIRN responded to receiving a heartfelt e-mail. The show originates on CUMULUS MEDIA Top 40 WWWQ (Q100)/ATLANTA.
Newly single and just two weeks away from her 39th birthday, TORY reached out to KRISTIN for makeover suggestions to boost her self-esteem. Over 22 years ago, TORY was involved in a tornado, leaving her paralyzed. She also lost her mother in the tragic accident. Today, wheelchair-bound TORY is a mother of two who has overcome incredible odds and touched many people. After reading her e-mail, KRISTIN knew she wanted to do more than just list her favorite nail salon, boutiques and spas.
KRISTIN surprised TORY with a VALENTINE'S DAY makeover and with the help of some local businesses, "The BERT Show" made TORY its official VALENTINE.
TORY received complimentary transportation, outfit shopping, facial and massage, manicure/pedicure services, haircut and style, makeup, a surprise dinner and the day’s activities captured in photographs.
