LEARFIELD SPORTS continues its run of acquisitions with the purchase of a controlling interest in the in-venue signage and video display firm ANC SPORTS ENTERPRISES, LLC. The company's co-Founder JERRY CIFARELLI will continue as Pres./CEO of ANC, which will retain the ANC name, and will report to LEARFIELD COO MARC JENKINS. ANC handles major venues like PENN STATE's BEAVER STADIUM, CLEVELAND's QUICKEN LOANS ARENA, ORLANDO's CITRUS BOWL, and NEW YORK CITY's FULTON CENTER transit hub.
LEARFIELD Pres./CEO GREG BROWN said. “This is an exciting move for LEARFIELD SPORTS. So often, we are in discussions with our collegiate partners about new stadium or arena technology needs and display capabilities and having this expertise in our family of services will be a huge asset.”
CIFARELLI said, “LEARFIELD is an incredibly respected company and trustworthy brand in the sports marketplace. Our company’s growth initiative to bring our high-quality technology and services to the college market seamlessly fits into LEARFIELD’s overall business strategy. As the leading turnkey technology service provider, we are excited to be a part of the LEARFIELD suite of services to transform the in-venue experience.”
