The Living Legends Foundation Career Day Event

THE LIVING LEGENDS FOUNDATION, THE FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS OF AMERICA (FBLA), and the HENRY COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM are presenting "This is How We Rock" Career Day at STOCKBRIDGE HIGH SCHOOL in STOCKBRIDGE GA. The event will take place this WEDNESDAY (3/18) in the ATLANTA suburb.
USHER's NEW LOOK FOUNDATION sponsors the MUSIC INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP 101 (MIL 101) course focusing on careers behind the scenes in the music industry.
"This Is How We Rock" is the brainchild of the FBLA students in the MIL 101 course. It's also a class project for the students which has been entered into a statewide competition for the FBLA. Over 2,000 students along with 8th graders from two feeder middle schools will attend.
LIVING LEGENDS CHAIRPERSON DAVID LINTON told ALL ACCESS, "I'm so grateful for the support of those who have agreed to share their vast knowledge with there very bright students. This is the type of event THE LIVING LEGENDS FOUNDATION is looking to engage with as we not only honor the past, but help shape the future leaders of the music industry. I have worked with FBLA course Instructor/ Advisor DR. JOYCE ELLIOTT ATKINSON, and STOCKBRIDGE HIGH SCHOOL Principal ERIC WATSON in putting together the talented team of industry professionals who will participate in this event."
Industry participants will include CAPITOL RECORDS' RIC ROSS, MINTER & ASSOCIATES KENDALL MINTER, STEVE HARVEY NEIGHBOR HOOD AWARDS LEONARD MCGEE, FAITH EVANS Manager CHERYL FLOWERS-BRIGGS, URBAN BUZZ columnist/media consultant TONYA BRYD, music specialist ALLEN JOHNSTON, QUEEN PROMOTIONS ARLINDA GARRETT, author/radio veteran MARSHA GEORGE, marketing consultant ELNORA LINTON, and music producer JIMMY ROACH.
