Alpha Buys 4 In Lubbock From Wilks

ALPHA MEDIA is buying again, this time picking up four stations in the LUBBOCK market from WILKS BROADCAST GROUP LLC for $23 million. The stations include Classic Rock KONE (ROCK 101.1) and Country KLLL/LUBBOCK, Urban KBTE (104.9 THE BEAT)/TULIA, and Hot AC KMMX (MIX 100)/TAHOKA. The deal has yet to appear in the FCC database; MICHAEL BERGNER of BERGNER AND CO. served as exclusive broker to WILKS while EISEMAN, ASSOR, BELL AND PESKOE served as legal advisor to WILKS.
