MUSEXPO 2015 To Host Another Year Of Global Music Innovation

The 11th annual MUSEXPO kicks off in just under two weeks (APRIL 26th-29th) at the HOLLYWOOD ROOSEVELT HOTEL. This year’s event has confirmed some of the leading executives and visionaries from across the global musical landscape.
MUSEXPO’s Global Keynote will kick-off with legendary TV newsman LARRY KING moderating a forum featuring:
- Influential radio mind BEN COOPER - Controller, BBC RADIO 1 & 1XTRA
- Leading indie music publisher MATT PINCUS – Founder/CEO, SONGS MUSIC PUBLISHING
- Highly-respected and successful A&R person NICK RAPHAEL - President, CAPITOL RECORDS U.K.
- Leading artist manager and business entrepreneur SCOOTER BRAUN - Founder, SB PROJECTS
- Gaming industry visionary STEVE SCHNUR - Worldwide Executive/President, EA MUSIC GROUP
Also confirmed to participate across the panel programming are some of the world’s most influential label heads and A&R minds that have, altogether, been responsible for the successful careers of an un-paralleled list of some of the most widely-recognized international artists. Additionally, MUSEXPO attendees will also have the unique opportunity to have their music heard by select A&R executives as part of listening sessions at both MUSEXPO and the A&R Expo events.
MUSEXPO 2015 will also once again host the Global Synch & Brands Summit which, over the past five years has resulted in 1,000+ synch licenses for its attendees. Additionally, the 2nd annual “International Music Industry Awards,” being presented in partnership with PEPSI, are set to take place on April 29th part of the MUSEXPO 2015 program.
The awards have no territorial boundaries and recognize the work and vision of leaders and creators from all sectors connected to music from communities in NORTH AMERICA, EUROPE, ASIA, AFRICA, SOUTH AMERICA, EASTERN EUROPE, AUSTRALIA and beyond.
A highlight of the ceremony, a key member of PEPSI’s global marketing team will also be presenting the second highly coveted PEPSI “Music Accelerator Award” to one emerging act who has exhibited creative ways to engage their global audience through marketing, touring and social engagement. This Award will seek to recognize artists that have not only achieved commercial success in their home territory but have also shown a fresh, exciting and innovative “act local, think global” approach to their artistic development internationally.
