As the 3RD ANNUAL TORTUGA MUSIC FESTIVAL wrapped two days of record-breaking attendance and performances from artists including KENNY CHESNEY, ZAC BROWN BAND, JAKE OWEN, SAM HUNT, MADDIE & TAE, and many others, WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE's BLAKE SHELTON was announced as the first performer to sign on for next year's FESTIVAL. The sold-out event, created with ROCK THE OCEAN FOUNDATION, hosted 75,000 fans at FORT LAUDERDALE BEACH PARK in FLORIDA, nearly doubling last year's attendance record of 44,000.
"When we started this festival, the goal was to bring awareness to the issues that are killing our oceans," said ROCK THE OCEAN founder CHRIS STACEY. "I am thrilled so many fans came out to enjoy the amazing music, but more importantly, that they left with a greater knowledge of the issues impacting our world's waterways and their part in helping us preserve them."
With the announcement of SHELTON as the first confirmed performer for the 2016 event, ROCK THE OCEAN's TORTUGA MUSIC FESTIVAL is now offering a limited quantity of multi-day general admission tickets, on sale now at www.tortugamusicfestival.com.
