13 More In Congress, 2 Senators Sign On To Co-Sponsor Local Radio Freedom Act

Three more Congressional co-sponsors and two Senate co-sponsors have been added to this session's version of the Local Radio Freedom Act, the bill that would block the imposition of performance royalties on radio stations, according to the NAB. The resolution now has 154 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives and 13 in the Senate.
The new co-sponsors include Reps. JEFF DUNCAN (R-SC), STEPHEN PALAZZO (R-MS), and LYNN WESTMORELAND (R-GA), and Sens. RICHARD BURR (R-NC) and DAVID VITTER (R-LA).
