NASHVILLE-based Producer DAVE COBB has spun his successful work with Country contemporaries A THOUSAND HORSES, CHRIS STAPLETON, STURGILL SIMPSON, JAMEY JOHNSON, and SHOOTER JENNINGS into a newly launched record label imprint, LOW COUNTRY SOUND, with ELEKTRA RECORDS. The imprint is supported by BRIGHTMAN MUSIC's ANDREW BRIGHTMAN and will be based in NASHVILLE.
ELEKTRA RECORDS is a subsidiary of ATLANTIC RECORDS and WARNER MUSIC GROUP, and its NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES based executives will also support LOW COUNTRY SOUND. The label will focus on developing artists from the SOUTHERN region, including its first signing with R&B/Pop musician ANDERSON EAST.
