Disney Revenues, Earnings Rise In 2015 Second Fiscal Quarter

THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY second fiscal quarter revenue rose 7% year-to-year to $12.461 billion, resulting in net income increasing 10% to $2.108 billion ($1.23/diluted earnings per share).
Media Networks division revenue, which includes the company's only radio properties, ESPN RADIO/ESPN AUDIO and RADIO DISNEY, increased 13% to $5.81 billion, with the segment's operating income down 2% to $2.101 billion. Within that division, broadcasting revenues rose 19% to $1.78 billion.
