The Kane Show Helps A Girl Raise Money For Her Home Destroyed By Fire

iHEARTMEDIA wakeup star KANE, who is heard in numerous markets, recently made a difference in TAMPA with a listener from Top 40 WFLZ. KANE told ALL ACCESS, on MARCH 14th, 2013 ALYSSA DE LA SALA’s home was destroyed by a fire while she and her parents and brother were at the mall.
WFTS-TV reports, "Her parents, JENN and JOE say they hired DAVIS VENTURES to rebuild it. Two years later only half the work is done, leaving them picking up the pieces."
“People we thought got paid didn't get paid and there are liens on the house. It's been a total drain on us mentally,” said JOE.
So, ALYSSA took matters into her own hands and wrote a letter to THE KANE SHOW asking for help advertising her fundraiser this weekend.
“The flyer says help us get home. They have pictures of the house on fire, they have pictures of them cleaning the house and they have pictures of the halfway-completed house. We need to get our TAMPA family involved in this one. ROSE can you reach out to The Now TAMPA BAY?” said KANE to a reporter at WFTS.
“I see a lot of things and hear stuff on THE KANE SHOW about how people have lemonade stands,” said ALYSSA, “when life gives you a problem, make a solution so I was thinking I can have a lemonade stand to help with the house.”
So that's her plan. She's set up a lemonade stand to help raise money TOMORROW, MAY 16TH from 9a-3p at 2217 Groveland Dr. in LUTZ.
