Hitch Radio App 'Pitches' On CNBC
May 28, 2015 at 4:10 AM (PT)
The "first instant messaging app for radio," HITCH RADIO, was profiled on CNBC WEDNESDAY (5/28).
Founder AYINDE O. ALAKOYE appeared on the network's "#POWERPITCH" segment to promote the launch of the app, which allows users to listen to 20,000 streams worldwide and instant message friends about the songs they're hearing; the messages disappear after being unopened for three to nine minutes (the sender decides). The timer starts when the person sends it, thus matching the content being sharing.
