THE NEW YORK POST reports SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT CEO/Chairman DOUG MORRIS has signed a two-year extention worth up to $20 million annually.
The paper writes, “DOUG has a two-year deal between $17 and $20 million a year, said an industry insider. It’s a mix of base salary plus a share of the profits. But $17 million will be guaranteed.” The report also notes that SONY's publishing arm, SONY/ATV, could be signing a contract extension with CEO MARTIN BANDIER worth up to $7 million a year.
A SONY rep told THE POST that the company doesn’t comment on executive contracts, but added the salary figures, “are completely untrue and false.”
