2015 Kellar Radio Talent Institute Starts Today

The latest KELLAR RADIO TALENT INSTITUTE starts TODAY at APPALACHIAN STATE UNIVERSITY. The institute, the first in consultant DAN VALLIE's NATIONAL RADIO TALENT SYSTEM, is in its 9th year, with over 160 students having completed the program and 70% of those starting their careers in radio or a related field upon graduation.
The ten-day program includes the RAB's Radio Marketing Professional Certification course, taught by RADIO ONE/RALEIGH's GARY WEISS, BEASLEY/FAYETTEVILLE VP/Market Manager MAC MCTINDALL, DOS TRICIA GALLENBECK, and AE PAM PATTON, DIGITY/GREENVILLE-NEW BERN-JACKSONVILLE Market Manager LARRY WEISS, and CURTIS MEDIA/RALEIGH DOS TAMMY O'DELL. DICK BROADCASTING Classic Rock WKRR (ROCK 92)/GREENSBORO's "TWO GUYS NAMED CHRIS" morning show will broadcast live from the institute; one session will be held off-campus at CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY with PERFORMANCE RACING NETWORK's DOUG RICE and his team and at the CAROLINA PANTHERS' BANK OF AMERICA STADIUM in CHARLOTTE with the NFL club's radio Exec.
