Ryan Seacrest Settles With BlackBerry Over iPhone Keyboard Patent Lawsuit

iHEARTMEDIA star RYAN SEACREST, along with partner LAURENCE HALLIER, have settled a lawsuit with BLACKBERRY over a keyboard add-on that his company TYPO offered for iPHONES.
FIERCEMOBILEIT.COM reports BLACKBERRY, "sued SEACREST and HALLIER and their venture TYPO for infringing on their patents for the keyboard technology. On MONDAY, BLACKBERRY announced a settlement with TYPO in which TYPO agreed not to sell the keyboard for devices with screen sizes of less than 7.9 inches, in effect all iPHONES, in exchange for BLACKBERRY dropping its lawsuit. Typo can continue to sell keyboards for devices with a screen size of 7.9 inches or larger."
Details of the settlement were not released.
