Two More In Congress, One In Senate Agree To Co-Sponsor Local Radio Freedom Act

Two members of the House of Representatives and one Senator have been added as co-sponsors of the Local Radio Freedom Act, a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The resolution now has 196 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives and 19 in the Senate.
Adding their support for the Local Radio Freedom Act in the House are Reps. JOHN CARNEY (D-DE) and MARTHA MCSALLY (R-AZ). Sen. RON JOHNSON (R-WI) has joined as a co-sponsor of the companion resolution in the Senate.
