Report: TRN Appeal Of Michael Savage Contract Case Nixed By Court
July 20, 2015 at 4:17 AM (PT)
WORLDNETDAILY reports that the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has rejected TALK RADIO NETWORK's appeal of the lower court ruling that MICHAEL SAVAGE was free to leave the syndicator for a competing deal with CUMULUS MEDIA NETWORKS/WESTWOOD ONE.
TRN had asserted that its right to match competing offers was met, but SAVAGE countered that the syndicator had failed to properly do so.
SAVAGE won the lower court ruling and an $863,454.92 judgment in 2013 in arbitration and affirmation by Judge YVONNE GONZALEZ ROGERS; TRN appealed but lost on FRIDAY (7/17).
