AMAZON ACOUSTICS today launched a collection of over 30 original acoustic recordings available exclusively for streaming on PRIME MUSIC and purchase. Both established and up-and-coming artists can be heard performing popular as well as newly-written or recorded songs acoustically.
Among the offerings: JOSHUA RADIN performing CYNDI LAUPER’s “True Colors,” SURFER BLOOD covering OUTKAST's “Hey Ya!,” JESSIE BAYLON's version of HARRY NILSSON's "He Needs Me" and TOKYO POLICE CLUB stripping down their own "Argentina (Part 1)" for an acoustic take.
“We are always looking for unique ways to make PRIME MUSIC the best destination for our listeners – offering original, exclusive recordings is one way we’re raising the bar on the music listening experience,” stated AMAZON Digital Music VP STEVE BOOM. “Working directly with a mix of great artists to create AMAZON ACOUSTICS was a really special experience; we can’t wait for customers and PRIME members to listen to these amazing recordings.”
