Spokane TV/Radio Newsman Bob Briley Dies At 91

Condolences to family and friends of longtime SPOKANE radio and TV reporter/anchor/sportscaster BOB BRILEY, who died MONDAY (8/10) at 91.
BRILEY started in radio after serving in the ARMY AIR CORPS in WORLD WAR II and attending GONZAGA UNIVERSITY, working at KFPY-A and KNEW-A/SPOKANE before joining crosstown KHQ-TV and KHQ-A in 1954, anchoring the news, calling SPOKANE INDIANS minor league baseball. and serving as public affairs director and host before retiring in 1988. He remained on KHQ-TV part-time until 1995, when he moved to KXLY-TV, winning an EMMY.
