If there's a ONE DIRECTION fan in your world -- you may have to break this news to them gently. The band reportedly will take an extended hiatus starting in MARCH 2016.
PEOPLE MAGAZINE reports, "the group, which is now made up of LIAM PAYNE, HARRY STYLES, LOUIS TOMLINSON and NIALL HORAN, has mutually agreed to take at least a year long break from the band to pursue their own projects."
This is the second time in just a few months that 1D fans have had to deal with tough news about their favorite boy band. ZAYN MALIK recently announced that he was quitting the group, posting to FACEBOOK, “I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life in LOUIS, LIAM, HARRY and NIALL. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world.”
It's expected that there will not be a tour for their fifth album, which is expected to drop later this year.
