JENIFER MALLORY has been upped to SVP/International for SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT. Previously VP/International Marketing for COLUMBIA RECORDS, MALLORY will lead the development and execution of international marketing campaigns for artists signed to SONY MUSIC in the U.S., and enhance the market presence of its U.S. artists in other countries around the world.
The NEW YORK-based exec will oversee an international team based there and in LONDON focused on project management and promotion, international digital marketing and world-wide marketing services. She will report directly to SONY MUSIC’s U.S.-based label heads.
MALLORY has played a leading role in the development of large-scale, worldwide marketing campaigns for numerous hit releases, including DAFT PUNK’s "Random Access Memories," JACK WHITE’s "Blunderbuss," "Beyonce" and PHARRELL’s "GIRL," among many others.
Prior to joining the International Marketing team in 2010 as a Sr. Dir., MALLORY spent four years at COLUMBIA RECORDS developing and managing the NEW YORK-based digital marketing team, spearheading digital campaigns for such seminal albums as ADELE’s "19," BOB DYLAN’s "Modern Times" and MGMT’s "Oracular Spectacular." Prior to joining COLUMBIA in 2006, she worked with the SONY PICTURES DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT team in L.A.
