ROGER WATERS, promoting his upcoming The Wall tour CD and DVD/Blu-ray, continued to defend his stance against ISRAEL by taking aim on one of his biggest detrators, HOWARD STERN, to ROLLINGSTONE.COM.
Comparing ISRAEL's treatment of PALESTINIANS to the civil rights struggle in the U.S. and the battle against apartheid in pre-MANDELA SOUTH AFRICA, WATERS insisted, "It's not the Israeli people, not JEWS and not JUDAISM" he's attacking. "I would never dream of attacking them, In fact, a lot of the ISRAELIS are the people who are putting the most into fighting the hardest because they believe is is the most effective tool for changing policies of their own government."
WATERS has recently criticized fellow musicians like JON BON JOVI for performing concerts in ISRAEL.
HOWARD STERN, who actually had WATERS as a guest on his SIRIUSXM show in 2012, recently commented: "Where do you want the JEWS to go, ROGER? You want them to go back to the concentration camp? What is it you want, f***head."
When the shock jock's name was brought up in the interview to WATERS, he laughed: "I wouldn't waste a single one of my precious breaths on that asshole, and I just did. That was a waste of breath. Let's move on."
