Univision Files Another Prospectus For Proposed IPO

UNIVISION COMMUNICATIONS INC. has filed another amended preliminary prospectus for its proposed IPO with the SEC on TUESDAY (1/12).
The prospectus, which proposes to list the company's Class A common stock on the NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE under the symbol UVN, pulled back on plans to issue its initial public offering in 2015 in light of the poor performance of entertainment industry stocks, but then filed an amended prospectus in late DECEMBER.
The new filing does not price the shares or offer a target valuation. It shows that the company had a net loss of $16 million for the first nine months of 2015, down from a profit of $140 million in the same period of 2014.
