REJOICE MUSICAL SOUL FOOD can now be heard in AFRICA too. The U.S. 24-hour Gospel music radio network is being distributed on the continent by VIEWSAT's free-to-air service on Satellite SES5.
CEO MIKE CHANDLER told ALL ACCESS, “The satellite footprint covers over 786 million on the AFRICAN continent. I am really excited about this new venture and the response has been great. We have an AFRICA-USA GOSPEL channel that plays Inspirational and Gospel music around the clock."
"Additionally we are providing an AFRICA-USA Hip-Hop and R&B channel that plays a 24-hour Contemporary Urban format. We are taking good music, thought-provoking programming, and information to an extremely under-served continent and I'm excited about the potential for us to influence peoples lives on a daily basis and give them something that many of us take for granted. Our programming also airs on cable systems in NAIROBI and TANZANIA.”
The company has launched an online hub for its dual music channels, click here.
