ALL ACCESS' PODCAST SECTION is growing with the addition of a regular column by AMPLIFI MEDIA founder and longtime programming leader STEVEN GOLDSTEIN. "AM/FM/PODCAST" debuts TODAY (1/28) with GOLDSTEIN's thoughts about talent incubation for radio and where podcasting fits into the mix.
GOLDSTEIN founded AMPLIFI MEDIA, a consultancy focusing on the digital on-demand audio business -- podcasting and streaming -- after 28 years as EVP and Group PD at SAGA COMMUNICATIONS. He previously co-founded Internet advertising company FASTBLAST, programmed WHYT and WOMC/DETROIT and WTIC-F/HARTFORD, managed affiliate relations for NBC RADIO NETWORK, served as Assistant Program Manager at WABC-A/NEW YORK, and anchored news at ABC RADIO NETWORK.
"STEVEN is one of the most forward-thinking and smartest people in the radio business, which has made his move to working with podcasting a natural evolution," said ALL ACCESS VP/News-Talk-Sports and Podcasting Editor PERRY MICHAEL SIMON. "Having his insights here on a regular basis is a major addition to the ALL ACCESS PODCAST SECTION."
ALL ACCESS President/Publisher JOEL DENVER added, "When PERRY and I first collaborated on launching our ALL ACCESS' PODCAST SECTION, we envisioned it as a robust hub for creative content to foster ideas and highlight success within the PODCAST arena. With the addition of STEVEN GOLDSTEIN, we have another strong asset in place toward that goal. We are truly thrilled to have STEVEN aboard."
