After a successful first year hosting "The ALLI SIMPSON Show" on RADIO DISNEY, ALLI SIMPSON will take on a new and larger role as its "Youth Engagement Officer." With this new role, ALLI will help inform and liaise with RADIO DISNEY regarding the topics, trends and challenges relevant to today's youth, create meaningful interactions with them and ensure their voice is heard and valued in its fullest capacity across all platforms.
The 17-year-old, AUSTRALIAN-born SIMPSON is the youngest nationally syndicated radio host ever, reaching over 20 million listeners a week and has interviewed some of the biggest names in entertainment. She was also the first U.S. DJ to play OMI's smash hit "Cheerleader" on RADIO DISNEY, which she featured in her international hits segment after hearing the song in AUSTRALIA while visiting friends at home.
Said SIMPSON: "I'm truly honored to be named RADIO DISNEY's 'Youth Engagement Officer' as it allows me to weigh in on the conversations that today's youth are having. RADIO DISNEY is the voice of the upcoming generation and to be a part of that team is really exciting."
"The ALLI SIMPSON Show" has not only been renewed for a second year on RADIO DISNEY, but the popular fashion and lifestyle show will be extended to become a three-hour block on FRIDAYs from 7p-10p (PT). Upcoming guests include GRAMMY Best New Artist nominee JAMES BAY (FEBRUARY 5th), BØRNS, YOUTUBE sensation LAUREN ELIZABETH and THE VzAMPS, among others.
"The ALLI SIMPSON Show" on RADIO DISNEY can be heard on SIRIUS/XM, TUNEIN RADIO, AHA RADIO, and the RADIO DISNEY app, among other platforms. A weekly, stand-alone stream of the "The ALLI SIMPSON Show" is also available on the iHEARTRADIO and iHEARTFAMILY apps.
