Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Dave Grohl Lead List Of Winners At NME Awards

TAYLOR SWIFT, COLDPLAY, DAVE GROHL, WOLF ALICE and THE LIBERTINES were among the winners at last night's NME AWARDS, held at the O2 ACADEMY in BRIXON, SOUTH LONDON.
SWIFT won for Best International Solo Artist on top of her Album Of The Year win at the GRAMMY AWARDS, while DAVE GROHL was named NME's "Hero Of The Year.“
THE FOALS' "What Went Down" earned Best Album honors.
5 SECONDS OF SUMMER :"earned" the dubious honor of Worst Band, while DONALD TRUMP sneered his way to "Villain Of The Year."
THE MACCABEES were dubbed Best British Band and RUN THE JEWELS won for Best International Band. CHARLI XCX beat out ADELE, among others, to win Best British Solo Artist, while homegrown act WOLF ALICE grabbed Best Live Band and Best Track for "Giant Peach."
THE LIBERTINES’ secret GLASTONBURY set was declared the "Music Moment Of The Year” and the indie rock group won for Best Fan Community.
There was a posthumous award for DAVID BOWIE, whose "Five Years" won for Best Reissue.
COLDPLAY received the “Godlike Genius” award from KYLIE MINOGUE before wrapping the night up with a five-song set which included “Viva La Vida” and the classic “Yellow.”
The annual awards are voted on by NME readers.
