GREATER MEDIA Country WKLB (COUNTRY 102.5)/BOSTON names JEFF MILES as host of the new morning show. He will begin his new position on MONDAY, MARCH 7th, replacing morning teamers JW WILLIS & LORI GRANDE (JW & LORI), who exited the station earlier this MONTH (NET NEWS 2/11). MILES most recently served as the morning personality of the “MILES IN THE MORNING” show at COX MEDIA Country KCYY (Y100)/SAN ANTONIO (NET NEWS 8/2/13). Previous to that, he made stops in ATLANTA and DALLAS.
“COUNTRY 102.5 is excited to embark on a new phase of great morning radio in BOSTON,” said PD MIKE BROPHEY. “JEFF MILES brings some great experiences and successes with him. I know our listeners will be enthusiastic as we build a great morning show.”
"I couldn't be more excited to be joining COUNTRY 102.5,” said MILES. “This has been a dream of mine my entire career to wake up and create great moments in such an incredible city. I am even more excited to join MIKE BROPHEY and the incredible team at GREATER MEDIA. It feels like I'm joining a great family more than anything else!" Back at KCYY, PD JEFF GARRISON tells ALL ACCESS morning/midday personality BETH CHANDLER will handle wakeups while a search for MILES' successor is conducted.
