The LOUISVILLE COURIER-JOURNAL is reporting that a local public relations representative and his firm are suing UNION BROADCASTING and its Sports WLCL-F (93.9 THE VILLE)/LOUISVILLE as well as hosts JOHN RAMSEY and MIKE RUTHERFORD for defamation.
The suit alleges that the afternoon hosts claimed on the air on FEBRUARY 16th that plaintiff SCOTT JENNINGS and his RUNSWITCH LLC leaked news of the UNIV. OF LOUISVILLE's self-imposed post-season ban to rival sports radio host MATT JONES of KENTUCKY SPORTS RADIO, calling JENNINGS "unethical" and "unprofessional" and RAMSEY adding "SCOTT JENNINGS, hope you are proud of yourself. You can flush that company."
