"Buenos noches, gentes de CUBA," MICK JAGGER greeted the throngs last FRIDAY, MARCH 25th for THE ROLLING STONES' historic free concert last week at HAVANA's CIUDAD DEPORTIVA DE LA HABANA.
"I'm expecting everyone's gonna have a damn good time," said KEITH RICHARDS before the show, with an estimated 700,000 jammed onto the field and another 500,000 outside the venue. "That they're gonna see something they've never seen before and hear something they've never heard before. I just want to see how the audience is going to react."
Last MARCH, MAJOR LAZER became the first U.S. act to perform in CUBA since diplomatic relations were restored with AMERICA. AUDIOSLAVE previously performed a concert there in 2005.
Here's a clip from the momentous show of the band performing "It's Only Rock 'n' Roll (But I Like It)."
