SIRIUSXM and Country superstar KENNY CHESNEY have partnered to air CHESNEY’s “NO SHOES RADIO” via the satcaster, effective at 6pm (ET) on TUESDAY, APRIL 12th. "NO SHOES RADIO" will be available on channel 62.
CHESNEY made the announcement with SIRIUSXM “HIGHWAY” morning host STORME WARREN today (3/29). In a statement released later, CHESNEY added, “We’ve spent eight years building 'NO SHOES RADIO.' It’s always been a place where I could share songs I love, musicians I find, things on my computer nobody’s ever heard – and blur the lines between my records and everything from Reggae to Rock to Bluegrass. To partner with SIRIUSXM as part of their artist driven platform of stations means 'NO SHOES RADIO' will be able to reach even more people who love songs and music the same way I do. That’s awesome.” NO SHOES RADIO was originally a pop up format on the satcaster, later moving to internet access. Managing Partner JON ANTHONY will continue his role with NO SHOES, and handles programming.
In support of the launch, CHESNEY will perform a private concert for SIRIUSXM at the legendary STONE PONY in ASBURY PARK, NJ on THURSDAY, MAY 12th. Not surprisingly, the concert will air live and exclusively on "NO SHOES RADIO." In addition to SIRIUSXM channel 62, "NO SHOES RADIO" is available through the SIRIUSXM app on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as streaming online. Check out "NO SHOES RADIO" here.
