Jordan Pettit, Chris Palmer Will Race A Bed Through Nashville For The Linds

WARNER BROS./TEAM WEA VP/Promotion JORDAN PETTIT and W.A.R. VP/Promotion CHRIS PALMER will captain a five-person team in NASHVILLE's DOWNTOWN DERBY BED RACE in honor on LINDSAY WALLEMAN's birthday. The TJ MARTELL FOUNDATION event has PETTIT and PALMER hard at work designing a bed with wheels, which they intend to race through the streets of NASHVILLE on SATURDAY, MAY 7th.
"We're trying to raise $10,000 for Sarcoma research in LINDSAY's memory," PETTIT told ALL ACCESS. "We may not win the race, but we're going to have a damn fun time being a part of it. On SATURDAY, APRIL 9th, we started to build the bed -- which happened to coincide with the three-year anniversary of LINDSAY's passing (NET NEWS 4/9/2013). Because her birthday is MAY 1st -- and the race occurring on MAY 7th -- one idea is that we make the bed look like a birthday cake outfitted with loud music and cold beer and five of us hoodlums either riding or pushing it and acting like idiots. Because, who wouldn't want to support that?"
All funds raised by PETTIT and PALMER will benefit the FTL SARCOMA FUND, started in 2013 "For The LINDS." For more information about the DOWNTOWN DERBY BED RACE, visit the event website. To donate to PETTIT and PALMER as they act a fool For The LINDS, click here.
