WQXR/New York's Graham Parker Named President Of Universal Music Group U.S. Classical Labels

NEW YORK PUBLIC RADIO SVP and Classical WQXR/NEW YORK GM GRAHAM PARKER has been named President of UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP's U.S. Classical music labels, under the VERVE LABEL GROUP. PARKER, the former ORPHEUS CHAMBER ORCHESTRA Executive Director, will be based in NEW YORK and report jointly to UMG President and CEO of Global Classics DICKON STAINER and VERVE President/CEO DANNY BENNETT. He will work closely with UNIVERSAL MUSIC UK Chairman/CEO DAVID JOSEPH and Central EUROPE and DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON President/CEO FRANK BRIEGMANN.
