James Madison University Sports To Continue On WSVA, WHBG/Harrisonburg Under New Deal

SAGA COMMUNICATIONS' HARRISONBURG RADIO GROUP News-Talk WSVA-A-W221CF/HARRISONBURG, VA will continue as flagship for JAMES MADISON UNIVERSITY football and men's basketball and sister Sports WHBG-A-W267BA (ESPN RADIO 1360 AM AND 101.3 FM) will air women's basketball under a new four-year deal with rightsholder LEARFIELD's JMU SPORTS PROPERTIES running through JUNE 30, 2020.

"The new ownership under SAGA COMMUNICATIONS has taken great strides to strengthen the station's presence in the SHENANDOAH VALLEY. We appreciate their emphasis on keeping JMU Athletics as a significant piece to their overall programming strategy."
