MEDIA MONITORS' report on local radio ad spending by the presidential candidates in 82 markets for the primaries shows that the spending is continuing to wind down as the parties have settled on their presumptive nominees.
For JUNE 3-12, HILLARY CLINTON's campaign aired 484 radio spots, with the BERNIE SANDERS campaign buying 225 spots in the VERMONT Senator's bid to gain support to try and wrest the Democratic Party nomination away from CLINTON. Meanwhile, with no opponents left in the Republican nomination race, DONALD TRUMP's campaign ran only three spots.
