PREMIERE syndicated “THE BOBBY BONES SHOW” host BOBBY BONES tells ROLLING STONE COUNTRY he now has security with him at all times, due to 15 death threats -- not because his name is BOBBY BONES, but rather he says, “I’m an asset to the company.” Additionally, BONES says of his interviewing skills, “I’m the best in the format ... because I ask human questions.” He also talked about his recent autobiography, “I’m Not Lonely If You’re Reading This Book,” calling it “the self-help book that helped ME.”
BONES considers himself an artist advocate, something that has helped people’s perception of him, explaining, “I'm really not a dick, but sometimes you get that reputation.” He says he has no regrets about his sometimes controversial move into Country radio, specifically when it comes to a stunt buying billboards critical of his own show, dust-ups with artists, or even incurring a major FCC fine. Said BONES: “I don't ever regret things. I learn from them.” Read the entire piece here.
