CBS affiliate KYTX-TV (CBS 19)/TYLER, TX reports that the drama at WALLER BROADCASTING Top 40 KLJT-KFRO-F (95.3/102.3 THE BREEZE) and Regional Mexican KMPA-KZXM (KOMPA FM)/TYLER-LONGVIEW, TX (NET NEWS 8/2) is continuing with former station President BILLY WALLER and the air staff who were fired by WALLER's sister SUSIE, filing claims with OSHA and the TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION and considering a lawsuit.
The staff was locked out of the station on AUGUST 1st, and BILLY WALLER told CBS 19 that his sister used a power of attorney obtained from their mother after the death of their father, WALLER BROADCASTING founder DUDLEY "BILL" WALLER, to have the locks changed and the staff escorted out of the station as trespassers by police.
BILLY WALLER has retained an attorney and is united with the 18 fired employees in possibly pursuing legal action in the case.
